Built in the 1980’s using a 1935 chassis and 1929 engine block,this Sports Special has been completely re-built and re-bodied by Colin Danks since its purchase in 2002.

Colin has raced the car in the Bert Hadley Memorial Championship (run by the Pre-War A7 Club) since 2005, in at least five UK Sprints and Hill Climb events each year.

Colin and the car have set class course records at :
Aintree, Barbon, Prescott, Brands Hatch, Goodwood, llandow, Harewood, Gurston Down, Rockingham Raceway, and Loton Park Hill Climb.

Also, Colin and the car have competed in several of the 750 motor club Austin 7 circuit races and twice competed in the Chateau Impney Historic Hill Climb.
